Annie Mist Thorisdottir hails from Reykjavik, in Iceland. She is a CrossFit professional athlete. She trains and coaches in Crossfit Reykjavik, where she is the co-owner. Annie was the first woman to win both the CrossFit Games twice. Annie was second at the in the 2010 and the 2014 CrossFit Games. Annie Thorisdottir is one of Iceland's top CrossFit weightlifter, media celebrity and CrossFit participant - is a CrossFit athlete from Iceland. She was the first woman to be awarded The CrossFit Games in 2011, and 2012, twice. Also, she was credited with winning at the Dubai Fitness Competition in 2013 and 2017. Annie was born and raised up in Reykjavik Iceland along with her parents as well as her siblings. Since a young age Annie was a huge athlete and loved exercising. She was awarded numerous medals in competitions for school. She first took part in 2009 in the CrossFit Games in California and did very well during the initial competitions. Annie Thorisdottir's ages are 31 years (as of 2021). Her height is 5'7" and she weighs around about 67kg. Annie began her CrossFit journey in 2009, in California. Annie did very well in the initial races and placed in the first 10 in a field of 70. However, she was unable to claim any titles and finished 11th in the final rankings. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. under the direction of Jami Tikkanen, Annie placed second in CrossFit Games and was awarded an award of Silver that year. After a year of CrossFit Games Annie was the winner of her very first CrossFit Games. Her dominating performance was enough to earn her the title. Annie was the first woman who has ever won successive CrossFit Games. In 2012, Annie once again became the CrossFit Games winner due to her outstanding performance. In 2014, she also received a gold medal. In 2021, she received the bronze medal. Annie has been coaching and training at Crossfit Reykjavik. This gym was established by Annie. With rising fame as an athlete Annie has been a face for a number of brands in sports, such as Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Renaissance Periodization Nuun Hydration Sidekick Yerbae among others.
