Ina Garten is an acclaimed American cookbook author as well as an Emmy award winning host of Food Networks current oldest show Barefoot Contessa that began in 2002, and has been aired for 27 seasons till 2020. Ina Garten began her career as a journalist at the White House where she wrote nuclear energy policies and budget reports. After initially finding the job intellectually stimulating and exciting but she quickly became bored. Barefoot Contessa was then bought. It was a huge success over the course of 18 years until she made the decision to close it. After that, she started her first cookbook. There were many more cookbooks, and magazines columns that were added. Meanwhile she also had her own Food Network show was also an enormous success. The range of products includes cooking equipment, to food items and storage containers. Ina she has not attended any cookery schools or had a job in a restaurant. She she is completely self-taught. She is known as a cook who is simple and has her entertaining manner. The most well-known recipes include Skillet - Roasted lemon Chicken Mac and cheese Beef bourguignon, Mac and cheese with Beatty's Chocolate Cake, and Lemon Bars.
