Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise was an American singer, actress, and writer who is best known in the role of Ginger Grant from the TV series Gilligan's Island. Her stage career began in the mid 1950s when she appeared in Two's Company, a Bettle-Davis musical. In 1956, she had her breakthrough on Broadway in Li'l Abner's musical. The same year, She made her debut album, It's the Time for Tina. Louise's first foray into Hollywood was when she played Griselda on God's Little Acre, a 1958 drama. The film was met with wide applause. Louise won the Golden Globe Award for the New Star of the year category. In New York, Louise enrolled at Actors Studio and began her relationships and friendship with Lee Strasberg. Her next unforgettable role was in 1964. The actress signed with CBS to play Ginger Grant. Louise Balfour managed to play between Broadway and Hollywood portraying somber character as against her famous image as the glamorous model. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. The SG-1 series and Helen Magnus, but in the past few years has gained recognition as a director on several famous TV shows, including Supernatural. Her family moved out of Essex to Toronto in the year she was born, and there she resided for growing up and in adolescence. When she was chosen to play the role as Samantha Carter, she moved to Vancouver in 1997, and was there ever since.
